I got admission to pursue my Master of Business Administration at the university of Viterbo in the spring of 2021, October 11th to be exact. I had been job hunting after my bachelors in 2019 for two years in Ghana. Everybody in Ghana knows how hard it is to get a job in Ghana. You basically have to pay to get a job in Ghana. Huge sums of money that can even help you to start a business. Even that is not enough to land you the job. You have to have a strong connection to the employer or someone who knows the employer. I had just graduated with no money and being the eldest of six siblings with parents who worked so hard to put me through school, I did not want to bother them seeing as two of my other sisters were also in school and my parents' jobs were not enough to take care of everybody, i had to let them catch a break. I took a loan in my final year to pay my tuition in order to graduate. It was hard back then and it still is. Being without a job, I sometimes take on construction hustles, you have to know someone to connect you and it's not gonna be free by the way. I also sometimes help people apply for their passports online or help people without the technical know how apply for a loan online in order to survive.

In the midst of all this i stumbled upon the study abroad opportunities. This is how most travel these days from africa in order to get away from abject poverty or should i say without money since i am better of than most because i have a phone at least.

I applied to many schools and got admission to two universities; Iowa state university to pursue a Master of Business Analytics which was later revoked because i could not show evidence that i would be able to take care of myself. I was supposed to provide a bank statement in order to get access to I-20 visa application form to acquire my F1 student visa. Viterbo University also gave me admission to pursue an MBA. I was able to get someone to help me with a bank statement through a friend of my dad's since the amount needed was lower compared to Iowa State University. They sent me the i-20 forms but i could not apply for a visa because i could not raise the money. It was 500 dollars at the time but it is almost 600 dollars now. My tuition together with other expenses was and still is approximately $60,000 to complete the whole program. The administrator has been so good to offer me another admission for the fall of 2024 after i explained my situation but it is on condition that i send him another bank statement dated at most one year before the start of program and to provide evidence that i would be able to fend myself throughout the duration of the program.

I would be extremely happy and grateful to anyone who would be able to help, because this is my only way out of this.

Thank you
