Hi everyone, I am Maxine Eloise currently 4 months of age. I was born last Decemeber 18, 2022 via Normal spontaneous delivery. At first I was treated as a normal baby like any other. I stayed at NICU for few hours of my life and was later trans-in to my mother’s room. My father tried to feed me on my 1st 24hrs but I couldn’t. I cannot tolerate it for I am having a easy fatigability for my unknown condition at that moment. My parents was worried about me. The following day one of my doctors, a Neonatologist, did her rounds and ordered for me to trans back into NICU.
In here, I was caught to having low oxygenation level on all my extremities ranging from 30-40% (for context normal oxygen saturation is 95% and up). Series of laboratories were done in where I was diagnosed with cyanotic heart disease, (Pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular septum) - a complex one. I was in need to get a life saving operation. The only opening in my heart keeping me alive is starting to close. Time is running out.
I was transferred to a bigger institution for my urgent interventional procedure. I was placed at Neonatal ICU, get intubated and facilitated the Operation, PDA double stenting. It was a high risk procedure. (can’t imagine how strong and brave I am at my young days). I stayed there for around 2-3 days without my parents by my side (hospital protocols). Gladly I made it. I was discharged last December 25, 2022 on a Christmas Day (best gift ever).
Now I can do a a lot more things (can cry now without turning blue but not much hehe). I am catching up and getting myself ready for another life obstacle. This coming June 2023, I will be subjected to a corrective surgery (Glenn Shunt). I pray that this will be a successful one with the help of our Creator. I hope you can help my parents, Mommy Jasshy and Daddy Cloyd, to finance my operation.

Max Chest CT angiogram

Baby Maxine was admitted last July 2, 2023 at Philippine Heart Center for Chest CT Angiogram under IV sedation. She tolerated everything well. Maxine will have her follow-up check up to her Pediatric Cardiologist after 2 weeks.
Baby Max 2D Echocardiography (May 18, 2023)

Last May 18, 2023, Maxine underwent another 2D Echocardiography. Latest update was her pulmonary arteries wasn’t grown enough as expected. She will be admitted this coming June 2023 at Philippine Heart Center to do CT angiography under sedation. This would finally determine her next Operation Procedure (Blalock Taussig Shunt or

2D-Echo was done last March 16, 2023 @ TDMH. As per her Pediatric Cardiologist everything is doing well, and the stent are all intact. Follow-up Echo would be done on her 5th month of life (1 month before her corrective surgery).
