Más luz para mi oscuridad

Se está recaudando el dinero, ya que debido a su discapacidad visual Pterigion en ambos ojos, distrofia macular de Best en sus ojos y Retinosis Pigmentaria, por lo que se le hace imposible obtener trabajo y como consecuencia de su situación, su único ingreso económico es por la ventasde tortillas caseras.

Con el dinero que se recaude se hará una operación en Guatemala,, en la Clínica Stem Cell Healing Instute y está a cargo de la doctora Zahra Figueredo. La intervención consistiría en sustituir las células de un tejido dañado por otras nuevas y sanas mediante la utilización de células madre, muchas veces provenientes del mismo paciente.

Este tratamiento no se da en Costa Rica, y tiene un costo de veinte mil dólares, más un tratamiento previo, boletos de avión, compañía, alñimentación y hospedaje por ocho días.

Agradecemos mucho la solidaridad, este es un ejemplo a seguir donde muchas otras personas con problemas visuales crónicos, podrían optar por dicho tratamiento, y volver la esperanza de tener más luz en un mundo de oscuridad, unidos podemos lograr esto y mucho más.

The money is being raised, since due to his visual disability Pterygium in both eyes, Best's macular dystrophy in his eyes and Retinitis Pigmentosa, making it impossible for him to get a job and as a consequence of his situation, his only economic income is for the sale of homemade tortillas.

With the money raised, an operation will be carried out in Guatemala, at the Stem Cell Healing Instute Clinic and is in charge of Dr. Zahra Figueredo. The intervention would consist of replacing the cells of a damaged tissue with new and healthy ones through the use of stem cells, often from the same patient.

This treatment is not given in Costa Rica, and it has a cost of twenty thousand dollars, plus a previous treatment, plane tickets, company, food and lodging for eight days.

We greatly appreciate the solidarity, this is an example to follow where many other people with chronic visual problems could opt for such treatment, and return the hope of having more light in a world of darkness, together we can achieve this and much more.
