Para kay Nanay

My mother, Marina Milo, 77 years old, was rush to a nearby hospital last February 27th, 2018 due to chest pains and difficulty in breathing. However, due to the lack in needed facilities to sustain our mother's condition, we transferred her to the Philippine Heart Center and upon running a series of tests, the doctors diagnosed her with aneurysm and was advised to undergo surgery the soonest time possible.

On May 04, my mother had her first operation. After two days, she regained her strength ( to God be the Glory) and looking forward to another successful second operation (stent procedure). On May 9, she had her second operation but the surgeon accidentally damaged her Aortic Valve which resulted to an open heart surgery that same day too.

Since then, my mother have been in ICU and have been in Phil Heart Center for 7 months tomorrow Sept 27. She's suffering now with pneumonia due to longest time she has tube in her lung but she's fighting for her life.

PHC wants us to have our mother transfer to other hospitals since her heart problem was cured already.For the past months,family, friends were helping and we approached government agencies, officials too and was able to get help. However, the amounts are not enough to cover our hospital bills which reach to Five Million. That is why we seek and begging the help of generous individuals or groups/organizations who has the heart and conviction to help or donate any amount to help us raise the amount we need.

Our mother is fighting for her dear life. She's been through many pains, hardships and at times she wants to give up but every time she hears that many people are praying for her and that we, her family is waiting for her to recover, and we're doing and giving everything for her to survive. It always put a smile on her face. One thing she always asks is "PRAYER". Aside from help financially, we're also asking for prayers for our dear mother.
