Campaign Story
Maria Francia, a brave and selfless mother of four, has been diagnosed and battling with Breast Cancer Triple Negative Type since 2018. She had a full radical mastectomy, underwent chemotherapy sessions, quarterly hormone therapy injections, quarterly CT scans, and monthly monitoring and blood workups.
She is active in spreading cancer awareness and giving inspiration and support to other patients, their relatives and friends. Focused on ensuring her health is well managed through a balanced diet, exercise, and being optimistic. She also had advocacy that “Cancer is not a death sentence. It's a life's novel worth writing.”
Unfortunately, on April 17, 2020, it was found on a CT scan about metastatic pulmonary nodules. She had to go through a PET CT scan but the result on May 6, 2020 is the same; Metastatic Bilateral Pulmonary Nodules. With that being said, she needs another 6 sessions of chemotherapy, CT scan every 3 sessions, maintenance on hypertension, heart, and asthma.
She never fails to radiate optimism to her loved ones despite all. Even in sickness, she does her best to provide for her family and others in all means. Given the pandemic and her condition, she finds it hard to support her treatment and other related expenses. We humbly ask for your help to help save her life. Any help, in forms of prayers and financial donations, will be very much appreciated.
