MAMA’S ONGOING HEMODIALYSIS TREATMENT

In behalf of my mother named MARLYN TAGUIWALO BAIS ARCAY this is her only child daughter named May Ann Bais Arcay asking for your kindness to help my Mama extend her life.

I didn't want to ask at first but as the burden is getting very heavy, I have no other choice but to ask for any monetary contribution that could help save My Mama's life.

My Mama has been undergoing Hospital Treatment (Hemodialysis) twice a week for the past 2 years. Unfortunately, this is going to be her life for as long as she is alive.

We live about an hour and a half away from the local hospital. With no means of direct public transport. To go to the hospital, we would hire a car to take us there and back which adds up to the big expense. Most recently, the Doctor has suggested my Mama needed to do a 2D Echo (ultrasound of the heart) because she's striving so hard to catch her breath everytime she walked or a little bit actions of moving and needed to have an eye check because of a failing eyesight.

I used to be able to support the expenses when I used to work for a passenger cruiseship but my job has been greatly affected by the current Coronavirus Pandemic. I am currently stuck in the Philippines with no job and no means to support my Mama because all of my savings was used already.

Papa works as a welder at a local company located in a different island in the Philippines, he has to travel by ferry for about 11 hours. He earns a small salary and the salary usually gets delayed because his company will only give partial payment at 1st half of the month, it takes about a month to fully give the cut off dates salary (15 days salary) then the next cut off date salary will be given on the 1st week of the next month. Which cannot afford also to maintain the twice a week hemodialysis treatment of Mama.

I am about to loose hope but I feel pity to my Mama because she's very strong person to survive on her situation right now. And I cannot afford to not doing anything, I love my Mama so much she is my strength why I work so hard even though far away from them, I will sacrifice cause I am the only child daughter who gives them unconditional love and full support on the daily expenses.
