Hi Family and Friends,
I know that this pandemic is giving all of us a hard time, but I am humbly knocking on your good hearts for help. Last Sunday, my Mama Chit was rushed to the hospital after breathing difficulties caused by her pleural effusion (water in the lungs) and hypertension. While on the way to the hospital, she was already gasping for air. Consequently, her breathing stopped briefly when we arrived. This prompted the doctors to intubate her. It is really heartbreaking to see her like that, but we are still very blessed to have made it to the hospital on time. Fortunately, the Covid swab test done to her resulted negative. She’s currently confined in the ICU for 6 days now and had undergone operation last Tuesday to remove the stuck water in some areas of her lower right lung. The operation was needed for her to be weaned out from the ventilator.
Being in the ICU is extremely costly and we did not expect her to experience it the second time. She needed strong antibiotics to clear the bacteria in her lungs. Aside from these, she also undergoes dialysis treatment thrice a week. With her hospital bills continuously piling up, we have already exhausted our funds and are now challenged financially. Therefore, my siblings and I decided to create this gogetfunding page.
Mama Chit has always been a fighter. Her ventilator is now on the lowest support mode and we unceasingly pray for her to be extubated soon so she can go home. Mama has always loved us unconditionally and we are willing to do so much for her. Hence, we plead to your good hearts. Help us raise funds for her treatment so we can get her out of the hospital. We will be very grateful for any help you can give to us to be able to pay her hospital bills. Thank you in advanced, and God bless you and your family.

Thanks God that Mama Chit already had been extubated. Though she still needs to have her oxygen from time to time, she's consistently doing breathing exercises to improve her breathing. Still requesting for your prayers for Mama Chit's continued healing. Also for your financial assistance for her hospital bills hoping
