PURPOSE OF THE MONEY
In 2019 Ccif Malta thought of an idea to bring the African communities in Malta together to showcase and share the rich cultural diversity we bring in this country. We used the event to share our stories, our music, our food and most importantly information on our countries. The event fused the commitment that African Diasporans in Malta have to contribute positively to the development of this country and our commitment to integrate. We were privileged to receive funding from the Malta arts Council and managed to bring together 18 African communities living in Malta. We managed to the most memorable African event ever to be held in Malta. The project gave rise to the setting up of a Diaspora platform https://www.facebook.com/AfricanDiasporaInMalta/
The donated funds raised will be used to cover the logistical arrangements, hire of equipment, stage, campaigns, outreaches in the build up, displays, rent of venue, transport and publicity etc.
Your support will be appreciated as we celebrate a important day the marks Africanism across the continent and entire world.
MANAGEMENT OF THE FUNDS
The African Diaspora in Malta https://www.facebook.com/AfricanDiasporaInMalta/ has a committee that was set up after the 2019 event and they will manage the build up activities and the main event together with the funds raised.
