Dear friends and supporters,

My name is Elena Dobre, and I am reaching out to you with a heart full of hope and the desire to overcome a challenging battle with deep endometriosis and multiple uterine fibroids. At 40 years old, despite the apparent smile on my face, I live with these conditions that profoundly affect the quality of my life.

Pain, bleeding, chronic fatigue, fertility issues, and more have been part of my life for over 10 years, but that hasn't stopped me from maintaining the joy of living and a smile on my face. The symptoms I have shared with you are not just a cold list of words; this is my daily reality.

I underwent a myomectomy in 2012 and a biopsy and hemostatic curettage intervention in 2023, but the battle is far from over. Many other fibroids have developed, causing hemorrhages and pain. Diagnosed with deep endometriosis in 2021, with inexplicable symptoms for many years, I sought and found a doctor willing to perform robotic surgery to remove the fibroids and endometriosis lesions, without removing the uterus without removing the uterus—an option that had been suggested to me until now. It's a chance to improve the quality of my life and, at the same time, a chance for a healthier and happier life.

However, the battle is not just physical but also financial. I left a traditional job with long hours at a desk to protect my health – incorporating more movement into my daily life and strictly following an anti-inflammatory diet through home cooking, as recommended. However, financial stress persists. Now, I do what I love without too much stress, combining work with pleasure, letting my creative side shine, and finding relaxation with animals (as a content writer and cat sitter). Yet, I don't earn enough to cover the costs of the surgery. Through this crowdfunding campaign, I humbly ask for your help to raise the minimum amount I need, 10,000 euros, necessary for the operation, tests, consultations, and unforeseen expenses.
