Make me smile again

Hi! My name is Cathleen and I'm from the country of Philippines.

I would like to knock on you humble hearts to help me fund for my dental braces. Because my parents can't afford for me to get one because my father is the only bread winner of the family and his earnings are not that big to have an extra amount for me to go on with this procedure.

I know that it's not a major problem compared to others but for me it is. Why? Because since high school it became the source of my confidence to go down. Many of my classmates would bully me of having having this set of teeth and that makes me a shy person. I can't laugh or smile with all my teeth being seen because they'll be shocked and tell why are my teeth like that and that makes me very insecure to those people around me to the point that I got depressed and cried a lot because I think I would never be good enough.

Because of my insecurity and my low self esteem I'm now scared to socialize because I'm overthinking that they would judge me because of this set of teeth that I have. I know that I should just embrace my flaws but being bullied for this reason is not a good thing to me. Because for almost half of my life it has been one of my biggest insecurity and the reason for my depression.

Please help fund my braces because we really can't afford that amount of money needed. Because I also need to under go some extractions and other dental prcedures before going to the braces itself.

I would be forever thankful to those people who would help me regain my smile. ❤️
