Make it Happen for Ben

When I think of a strong person, the first person that comes to my mind is my dad, Severino "Ben" Andrade. He has been a provider for our family. He has helped a lot as well when he was able to help. I've always admired him and I wanted to be like him and it saddens me that he has to go through so much physical pain due to his sickness. I always tell him to "make peace with where he is" and to "let God bring him what he desires (to be healed)". Little by little, he encourages himself to trust that everything will work out for him and he will soon be healed.

He has been confined for 3 weeks and has undergone different diagnotic examinations, including 2D echo, endoscopy and CT scan (which we had to pay in cash). He had to buy medicines and in some cases he had to take certain medications to serve as his food (since he is not allowed to take food nor water). He was diagnosed to have "gastric outlet obstruction secondary to gastric (antral mass)", which will require surgery. We had spent over PHP300,000 including hospital medications, laboratories and hospital bill. We still need more to help him undergo surgery and fully recover.

I believe that as human beings, it is very natural for us to be compassionate to one another and we, as a family, humbly asks for your help in this journey. Let's make this happen for "Ben".
