Campaign Story
Make a food box for a family is a small project targeting to provide vulnerable families in the high desinty areas of Chiredzi town in the south east lowvield area of Zimbabwe. To be able to go through the lockdown as they try to figure out how best to make ends meet.
During these unprecedented times where many have lost they means of making income due to the corona virus outbreak. A number of families have no means to earn money to be able to put food on the table.
This campaign is meant to fundraise funds to make 500 food boxes for 500 families. The food boxes would each contain one bag of Mealie Meal, Sugar Beans, Salt, Cooking Oil and Sugar. This would help families for about 4 weeks.
Each food box costs USD 22.1 to put together buying each item from wholesaler shops.
Your support would help children not sleep on an empty stomach during these difficult times.
