Lymphoma Awareness Drive

Hi family and friends!

I would like to ask for your help in raising funds for donation to Lymphoma Association of the Philippines as my way to remember my mom’s birthday on the 24th of March. This is will be a month long fund raising that I plan to donate exactly on her birthday.

As many of you know, my mom passed due to this blood cancer. We had a very difficult time in raising funds for her treatment and to pay forward, I would like to raise funds to help other families in the same situation. When people ask what type of cancer my mom had, they are not aware of what Lymphoma is. Lymphoma is a cancer that begins attacking the infection-fighting cells of the immune system called lymphocytes. A person with lymphoma experiences change in their lymphocytes, growing out of control. It can grow in any part of the body. My mom had hers first on her breast, then to her spine and brain.

I would like to raise awareness as I raise funds for the association that help lymphoma patients with their treatment just like how people support and raise awareness to more common types of cancer, like breast and lung cancer. I hope this fund raising will be a success.

I will, from time to time, give updates on the value raised and of course, once the raised amount is donated. I would appreciate it if you can share this post to your family and friends as well.
