Lucky Birthday Fundraising for Smiling with Jerome

For my lucky 23rd birthday and for the 2nd consecutive year, I will be raising funds for Smiling with Jerome - an organisation very close to my heart. Jerome was one of my friends growing up and I have very fond memories of our childhood together. Sadly, he passed away a couple of years ago. I know at the moment everyone is passing through a difficult phase financially, but I'm 100% sure that a donation as small as €2 will not do any harm to our pockets BUT can be extremely helpful to people who will benefit from the funds of Smiling with Jerome.

My wish this year is to surpass last year's amount! Help me hit the target - donate, share it with your friends & help me spread the word. Below is a break-down of where last year's funds were used. Thank you in advance! Stay safe everyone x

**Last year we managed to raise €582 and the proceeds were used for:

- Items given to diagnosed adults and kids: 3 Laptops; Specialised Bed and Pillow; Specialised ‘Vibrating Mat’; Specialised Bath Seat; Liberator; 2 Wheelchairs; Specialised Mobile Phone; Oxygen Equipment;

- Sponsored 2 walls with Paintings in Ward 2 at the Oncology Centre so as to make the ward more aesthetically pleasing for the Cancer patients;

- Sponsored a Folding Bed, 2 Electric Kettles and 2 Dyson Bladeless Cool Fans to the Oncology Centre;

- Distributing for free all Chemo Bags of Hope to all inpatients at SAMOC (Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre), any patients referred by Malta Hospice and Cancer Patients at Gozo General Hospital. These bags were costing us €25 to prepare. Now we have come to know that costs for the items have risen and not many items can be sponsored. The bags will now cost us €50 each to prepare.

**Chemo Bags of Hope are bags which are prepared by Smiling with Jerome to distribute to cancer patients where they'll have anything they'll need to help them whilst they are taking Chemo.
