St. Vincent Youth Organization was founded last December 17, 2017 the aforesaid youth organization was formed in response to the devastation of Typhoon Urduja. The youths immediately collected cash donations and in kind from kindhearted individuals and made it to distribute groceries (rice, sardines, noodles, coffee, milk and sugar), toiletries, used clothings, kitchen utensils, cooking wares to the most affected families of the flashfloods in Sitio Cansiso, Caibiran, Barangay Sanggalang and Barangay Busali, Municipality of Biliran, Philippines where there were 350 families severely affected by Flash Floods and Landslides. Further, Psychosocial activities were also conducted to the children in the aforesaid places.
We believe that we could be an instrument in helping the poor and the disadvantage brought by the natural calamities through the help of others.
Helping the less privileged school children and conducting different youth activities is our main goal. This will result a positive impact in the hearts and minds of the school children motivating them to perform better in school and one way of preventing our youth from doing depravities.
