Lou18: A COVID-19 Fundraiser for the Frontliners and the Poor in Tinajeros, Malabon

Hey everyone!! I hope you are all safe and secure in your homes at this time. It’s my birthday today and my birthday wish is to be able help those affected most by the COVID-19. I hope you can help me in making this wish come true.

For this fundraiser, there will be two beneficiaries: first are the indigent people in Barangay Tinajeros in Malabon City and second are the medical front liners who need protection while they do their duties.

1) As seen in the pictures, the poor in Barangay Tinajeros are in desperate need of food because they aren’t able to work and provide for their basic needs. That is why through your donations, I wish to supply of at least 200 poor people a food package consisting of 2kg of rice, 2 canned sardines, and coffee. The food donations will be coursed thru the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairwoman of Brgy. Tinajeros with whom have been coordinating with for the past few days.

2) While crowdsourcing from family and friends, and searching in the internet, I came across an initiative called “20 for 20”. They basically manufacture high-quality PPEs for the frontlines and deliver it to them as well, as seen in the pictures provided.

A minimum donation of P20 can help them buy materials and consolidate donations to make 20 PPEs a day. They will also deliver the PPEs directly in my behalf.I have already communicated with one of the proponents of this initiative.

To those who plan to donate to this fundraiser, I thank you in advance :) You really will make my b-day celebration great by helping me fulfill my wish. Those who can’t, it’s ok as well. I know that you are also helping out in your own way. I promise and I will make sure that your donations will reach the mentioned beneficiaries.
