Every year hundreds of students graduate from our university, Symbiosis International University.

Me and my friends, we contacted and forwarded all of them messages through whatsapp and facebook and other direct contact sources. We have collected clothes, mattresses, kitchen utensils and other materials, umbrellas, etc that we are planning to travel to slums in Mumbai, three hours drive from Pune and distribute it there by ourselves without involving any middlemen agents or even NGOs, just to ensure that the collected stuff have been delivered well and effectively. I have inquired for the hiring it costs around INR 6000-8000 for a medium sized transport car. The remaining money will be used in converging of all the donated materials from around the city to our apartment in Pune from where in a single lot we will transport the donate ables to the slums of Mumbai immediately.
