Local Home Restaurant for Needy Families

My name is Youssef and my wife Rula, and our beautiful daughter Francesca. We are Arabs living in Israel, in a big city called Haifa. We are very thankful for the opportunity to share our passion with you.

Since we got married couple of years ago, we had a financial challenges along the way, which were stressing us out in many areas of our life. We never knew that financial challenges can cause that much of conflicts or struggling time in the family. After experiencing that challenges, we saw that in our city, a lot of families and couples, experience the same stress. We thought that a slight escape from all this stress, would be very helpful.

Our idea is giving these families a short break is by giving the family an opportunity to enjoy a dining experience, since it have been so long since they get time to go out, and not stress about money. by converting our backyard which is about 140 square meters, to a local family restaurant, which will provide a dinner to families and couples who struggle financially, free of charge.

We believe that it's not the food that makes this experience marvelous, but it's the passion that driven us, to give these families hope, to remind them that someone is thinking about them, and care for them. And by inviting the people and families, we would love to stay in contact with them and support them along the way. We would love as well to involve the people that are excited to help and willing to give and the families and people in need. So we will encourage the locals to give and donate whatever they are passionate about, like food, clothes, money... and connect them with the families that come to our home restaurant.

The vision is to make community transformation by building a caring and passionate relationships - between the people who want to support and the people in need, through dining and supportive experience.

Stage 1: 2,000$ will be a start to buy outdoor furniture and start this project.

Stage 2: 3,000$ will be for important facilities for food such as: refrigerator, Freezer etc.

Stage 3: 2,000$ for closing the area outside, so it can be used in winter as well.

Stage 4: 1,000$ a month for food and other fixed costs
