Liver Cancer Surgery for Oscar Collamar –

Good day,

I am Aiza B. Collamar, daughter of Oscar Collamar, our patient.

I am writing this campaign hoping to get a fund or medical assistance to my father who is currently diagnosed of a Hepatocellular carcinoma (hcc) liver cirrhosis.

Just to share a background of my father, He is 57 years old, married,has 11 children and a local of Lavezares,Northern Samar, a farmer and a fisherman.

For the first time of his life, he was admitted at the hospital (UST Charity Hospital) last Wednesday, July 31,2019 due to unbearable pain in his back and abdomen. Prior to that, he started to feel that pain last May 2019 and he just ignored it thinking that its just an ordinary fatigue due to overwork. But came June this year, he's appetite started to lose, preceding his body weight.He went for self-medication using herbal plants found in our place and felt a certain comfort on it.

But last month the pain continuously bothered him and we decided to got him here in Manila for check up. His check up last for almost 3 weeks, starting July 15,2019 and underwent a series of diagnostic tests. The result were normal except those that were related to liver. The doctor recommended him to took up CT-Scan to understand the causes of his pain and unfortunately, last Monday, July 29,2019 we rushed him to the hospital due to vomiting and unbearable pain. We got the CT-scan result last Wednesday and he was diagnosed as liver cancer positive.

We, his children, who are an ordinary salaried employees, trying to make both ends meet just to make sure we can save him or prolonged his life at least. We are financially challenged as of now,as there are lot of tests that are needed and the doctor recommended procedure to save him from the cancer.

We, his 11 children are humbly asking from your good hearts for a financial assistance so that my father can undergo to the TACE (Transarterial chemoembolization) procedure as he is fighting for his life.

He's been a great father, a good provider to us,that's why we are looking for the solution to help him.

The doctor says that procedure alone costs 300,000.00 aside from the medicines and other expenses. We know that even all collective efforts are provided, we cannot provide such amount.
