She turns her scars into strength and her pain into power.

LOLY, as she is fondly called by everyone around her, has raised 9 wonderful children, and has always been a loving Lola to us—her 25 grandchildren and 8 great-grandkids.

Her home has also become home not only to us, her family; but also to her friends and guests. She welcomes everyone with the best food, wonderful music, and her warmest smile. She has always been the life of the party, our one, and only Dancing Queen!

Ten years ago, she had battled and survived cancer of the vulva. Unfortunately, early this year, she was diagnosed with Angiosarcoma—rare cancer that develops in the inner lining of blood vessels and lymph vessels.

She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and is taking medications for other health complications. She also recently just got out of the cardiovascular ICU after a heart attack and subsequent pacemaker surgery.

Truly a FIGHTER, Lola Loly remains to be a source of joy and inspiration for all of us, despite her medical condition—sharing her stories and laughter during family video conferences, and even putting on lipstick and makeup during chemo infusions!

She is indeed the pillar that holds our big family together. We are who we are because we have her in our lives.

And now that she is bravely fighting the biggest fight of her life, itʼs time for us to give back to our amazing rock.
