Hello there! My name is Hart Ang, a writer and entrepreneur from the Philippines.
A friend and I started Life and Lasagna, a project to provide hearty lasagna meals to medical frontline staff in hospitals and communities that are vulnerable by the COVID-19 situation. Luckily, we were able to push through and provide 250 meals to 3 hospitals around the Metro!
We have partnered with Fenelley's Kitchen, a food business in Metro Manila that cooks amazing, home-cooked lasagna meals!*
While our mission to provide meals to medical frontliners was a very important phase of the project, we are now moving towards helping directly those most in need. Today, we continue Life and Lasagna by concentrating our efforts to providing monetary relief to families hardest hit by the pandemic.
While it is hard now to see any light or hope in this pandemic, and there are many families who are in need of medical or cash assistance, it is our hope that we can reach your kind hearts to help us alleviate their struggle, whatever amount you can provide.
For transparency's sake, we've attached here a tracker that details every donation, disbursement, and delivery made for the project. This drive will run continuously until the end of the quarantine in Metro Manila.
