Campaign Story
Last December 24, my mom came down with stroke due to a blocked artery on her head. Her doctors advised that the total cost would reach up to 400,000 or 500,000 to cover the 2 surgical operations, excluding the post-surgery expenses since she will be placed in the ICU afterwards. My mom has to undergo multiple surgery procedures, specifically Ventriculostomy and Decompressive Craniectomy.
Now, my company's health insurance is almost maxed out by the daily hospital bills and will no longer cover the surgical fees. Her siblings, nieces, nephews, children, and even distant relatives and friends are trying to gather money to start the surgery but we still don't have enough.
