Hi everyone! My name is Jean Ocampo from Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Last November 10, 2023, I was rushed to Makati Medical Center due to difficulty in breathing and low oxygen level. There were several tests done and I am currently being treated for the infection. Not to mention that I also have several nodules scattered around my lungs, which is a major factor as well.

Now, I am on high flow oxygen support so that I can breathe normally, and recover quickly to regain my strength. I have several doctors who are working together and we are all doing everything we can for my condition to get better.

However, with all that is happening, our family is also overwhelmed with all the medical expenses. Aside from thinking about my health condition and the series of treatments needed, I am very much concerned on the financials as well.

With this, I am humbly requesting for any help you can extend to me & my family in this challenging time.

Hi everyone! My name is Jean Ocampo from Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

After a series of medical tests and procedures since December 2020 and two hospitalizations in January-February 2021, I have been diagnosed with Ampullary Cancer. I had a major operation last January 27, 2021, my gall bladder, pancreas and spleen were removed and I was on adjuvant Chemotherapy from March to August 2021.

To monitor my health after the chemotherapy and to watch out for any recurrence, we have been doing regular blood tests and CT scans every 2 months since September 2021. However, the results show signs of early recurrence and from the PET CT scan done last January 2022, it was seen that the disease was metastatic. With this, we have decided to continue treatment and started another round of Chemotherapy in February 2022.

Last week of March 2022, I experienced severe diarrhea and was hospitalized for almost 2 weeks due to bacterial infection. We had to pause treatment to treat the infection and regain strength.

Now that I have somehow recovered and regained my strength, I had another series of tests done in order to resume with my Chemotherapy treatment. However, with all that has happened in more than a year, our family has been and is still overwhelmed with all my medical expenses. Aside from thinking about my health condition and the series of treatments needed, I am very much concerned on the financials as well. With this, I am humbly requesting for any help you can extend to me & my family in this challenging time. Since my illness has been found to be metastatic, continuous treatment is recommended on top of my daily maintenance medicines, regular laboratory tests and consultations.
