Let’s help Ahmed to finish his university!

Hello! My name is Ahmed. I’m Egyptian living/studying in Malaysia since 2017. I’m organising a fundraiser for anyone who can lend a helping hand to support my finances in my last semester at university.

When the pandemic happened in 2020, my dad lost his job and couldn’t afford to help me. In the past years, I earned my own money, but it was only enough for me to survive and eat. The money I had made didn’t last for the final fees for my study. I’m depressed, stressed, and pressured by these unfortunate events.

During my final year, I entirely shifted my focus to studying. Thankfully, I was awarded top scorer among my other classmates. I know I am passionate about my education.

However, I could not graduate the same semester as my friends because I couldn’t afford the final semester’s fees. My student visa will also expire by September 2022, so I must pay my tuition fees before returning to Egypt. I need to settle the remaining balance to receive my bachelor's certificate.

As the eldest of the family, I know I have the biggest responsibility to help my elderly parents and younger siblings. I am working as a freelancer, but it will never be enough to pay the total amount of my tuition fees. I know by graduating as a degree student, I can have more opportunities to help myself and my family. Despite this, I’m trying to remain positive and creating a fundraiser is my option now.

As I like to be transparent about where the money goes, here is the list of what the fund will be used for:
