Hello everybody!
The goal of this campaign is to raise money to cover part of expenses of big latino music and dance night on 11.05.2019. in Daugavpils, Latvia.
Where it will be held?
In cultural center of Daugavpils county.
When it will be held?
11th of May year 2019.
Why it will be held?
The main reason is that this is my final bachelor work.

Who is organising this event?
The main organisator is me and I am presenting this kind of events through community I started to make. I called it Latino Daugavpils:

What kind of expenses I want to cover?
- Video and photo from Ivars Utināns
(www.youtube.com/user/ivoproductions) - Printing and all advertising expenses before the event
- Covering part of live latino music by Los Nens

Why I can`t cover all expenses from entrance tickets?
To fully cover all needs I need to make around 30 euro what is probably ok, but not for the local audience. The average salary per month in my region (Latgale) is around 400-500 euros. Because of this people are not so welcoming to go to events with big payment as in priority there are other things to pay. I have done oprosi for local people and the normal amount for that kind of event is 15 euros.Also - there are some expenses I need to cover before the event
How many people will visit this event?
Around 150 people (that is the maximum how much people can be in the hall of culture center of Daugavpils county.

Is this the first event from Latino Daugavpils?
No, it`s not. From November I am making little pre-events once in a month in little local places.

What expenses I will cover from entrance tickets?
Dj, dance teatchers, culture hall rental (80 euros per hour), extra light system, decors, etc.

Why I am doing this? Well.. Let me introduce myself.
My name is Elizabete Poddubnova and I am 25 years old art/culture management student and director of little culture house (www.facebook.com/medumuTN/) in Daugavpils, Latvia (The Baltic States - Eastern Europe).
I am on my final year and as I am getting proffesional not academic bachelor of Daugavpils University (www.du.lv), my final work should something really inovative for my region and impressive. As some time ago I felt in love with Latino dance and music, I wanted to bring some Latin culture to my region, which in Latvia is called Latgale.
The thing is that this region because of high level of unemployment and low salaries, people feel depressed here. And the culture life here is just.. Lets say - waiting for its best times.
That`s how I camed to this idea - to bring some culture from warm countries to my pretty cold part of this world.
