Lend A Hand- Janet Hutcheson’s Shoulder Repair Surgery

To my family, friends and former colleagues in Education, Social Services and Policing, my name is Janet Hutcheson. Currently, I am a retired civil servant, having served 41 years in the public service. Asking for help is something I never do. Anyone who knows me, will attest to the fact that I am a giving, helpful person and I look out the interests of others. But today, I am asking for assistance to undergo left shoulder surgery totaling some $14,000.00. This amount would cover doctors’ fee, anesthesia, hospitalization and physiotherapy to regain proper use of my shoulder-(MRI completed). In November of 2019, I fell and broke my big toe, and because I did not manifest any pain in my right shoulder at the time; it was overlooked. However, since then, it has been a roller coaster ride of pain 24/7 due to 3 torn tendons, one that is torn 50% through, affecting proper use, weight bearing and rarely getting a good night’s sleep. As a retiree, I know that these are challenging times for everyone. Thus, this appeal is being made and I graciously welcome any assistance you are able to give.
