HELP CHILDREN LEARN TO SWIM!
It is my husband’s and my self’s desire to help as many children have a lifesaving skill as possible. We can achieve this by reaching out to those who care.
We would like to build a swimming facility in the province of Nong Bua Lamphu (Essan) the children in this area are under privileged and are surrounded by the Counties Uborlat Dam in which the flood plains circle around the area for over 25 kilometers, this becomes a very dangerous place to live for children who are very curious of water. The unfortunate truth is many of them loose their precious lives to these waters.
My husband is a professional swimming teacher with over 30 years of experience and is qualified to teach/coach and mentor at all levels. We are prepared to open up a facility and contact the local schools with a 25-kilometer perimeter to make it part of their curriculum to bring children of all ages once a week to learn to swim.
Currently we have used our savings to purchase some land in order to build this pool and have a set of drawing plans with a permit to build. What we now require is the funds to complete the pool which is approximately $155,000 US. We know that with your help we can achieve this important goal and watch children for generations be taught these most needed life skills.
