Lakshmi to Youth America Grand Prix Competition (YAGP)

Hello, my name is Lakshmi. I am 13 years old and I am half Romanian and half Indian.

I started dancing classical ballet at the age of four and a half. Over the years I performed in Le Corsaire and Snow White at the National Opera in Bucharest (Romania), as well as other performances around the country.

My dream is to dance on the greatest stages of the world. To turn my dream into reality I need to compete in international competitions which are very expensive, and above what my family can afford.

I am enrolled in the international semi-final of the Youth America Grand Prix competition which is the world's most prestigious youth competition and the largest global dance network. I am fundraising 1900 Euro to be able to travel and compete in the semi-final round in Paris from November 2nd to 7th, 2022.
