My grandmother, 71 years old, whom we fondly call ‘Nanay’ was admitted last January 3, 2020 then currently confined to ICU for 2 days still unsure when she will be discharged. Various complications and illness have already occurred, from having a hard time breathing to swelling of some her body parts. The doctor’s findings said it was liver cirrhosis with her kidney also being affected, that caused her body to swell. She’s already having a hard time standing up or walking alone, thus us helping her do those even with her bathing, peeing or boweling. She needs a catheter inserted in her for her to urinate and a procedure where they take out water in her stomach for her to feel somehow comfort, us also hoping that it will help reduce the size of her stomach.

Her children and we, her grandchildren promised that we would never give up for her until the end, praying to God for our strength to fight for our dear Nanay.

Thankful for everyone’s prayers, we somehow received good news from the doctor. Because of the medication being given, the vital signs of Nanay is now stable. A sign that she still is our strong Nanay!

But now, our family is having a hard time financially supporting her due to the expensive medicines and hospital bills. We have been paying 25k – 30k everyday for it. Although expensive, we don’t want her to feel our pain because we don’t want her to emotionally feel it’s a burden to carry, that is why our family is humbly asking for help and support via GoFundMe.

Where Nanay is in need of funds for her:

- Medicines

- Hospital Bills

- Food supplements

- Diapers

- Medical Equipments (Wherein they take blood to check her Sodium, Potassium, etc.)

- Different kind of lab tests

- ICU Room charge
