Krizzia’ s IVIG for NMDA-R Encephalitis Treatment

Hello everyone.My name is Kristna Arandia and my youngest sister's name is Krizzia Jean Arandia , 22 years old and suffering from NMDA-R Encephalitis and still in the hospital for more than 3 months now.

She had a terrible headache for a week on the 2nd week of December 2019. We thought it was just a simple headache and never visited doctor for check up. On December 24 , 2019 she told me that she felt better and we went home in Tarlac to celebrate the Christmas eve .On December 25,2019 we had a simple giveaways to some Kids in our Barangay(Village) because she always wanted to share her blessings to anyone or anybody. Right after that, she told me that she felt weird. She couldn't recognize some place and her own personal things that we thought was just a joke.

On December 26,2019, we travelled back to Makati because we both had shift . That was the time that I felt afraid and made me really concern of what really was happening to her. I went directly to the office coz i needed to work at 1am and she told me that she wanted to go home first (Room that we rent in Makati ) to take a rest and needed to go to work at 3am. So we both went into our different ways. and then after 3minutes right after we separated our ways, I received a text message from her "sis, where should i go? how to go home?" . I replied immediately and told her what to do but I was thinking that maybe she was just stressed and restless and might forgot things but i was not complacent that time but i needed to start my work . 3am on the said date , she messaged me through email that her memory loss was getting worst that made me really nervous.

December 27,2019 8:00pm , she woke me up while she was crying. I asked her why, she told me she couldn't sleep and she was hallucinating. She was hearing voices and seeing things that I dont see. I brought her ASAP to our office clinic and we were recommended to visit Psychiatrist or Neurologist because she couldn't even remember our workplace where she was working at for almost 3years.

December 28,2019 around 4:00am , i rushed her to the emergency room as she really couldn't sleep and her memory loss was getting worst. MRI resulted negative, so we were endorsed to Psychiatrist . We were told that it was "MAJOR DEPRESSION" . My sister Krizzia requested to go home in Tarlac which we did on the same date . Psychiatrist prescribed her an anti-depressant meds but she knew there's something wrong with her . She hugged me and said while she was crying "Ate, please do everything " and she kissed me and told me how much she loves me. I hugged her and told her that everything will be fine. She even told me to take care of her things and pay her debts if she has and give my mother's allowance as she's the one who's providing the medicine of our mother who has diabetes and she's the one who's paying the school tuition fees of our niece and nephew. We went home in Tarlac around 8:30pm the same date , and everything was very unsual that time. She keeps on asking where my mom is, where her friends are, where are we, and I just hugged her so tight and told her to fight her depression coz we thought it was a depression.

January 2,2020 , Krizzia got worst , She was hallucinating and seems like out of her mind. She became aggressive. We decided to rushed her into the hospital coz she was screaming and couldn't sleep. She was admitted to the hospital. She was getting worst and worst until she had her 1st seizure, then she can not be able to speak or even eat or swallow foods,can not be able to sleep too and breath on her own . She had her lumbar tap (operation) to check if why she had seizure episodes and found out that she is suffering from ENCEPHALITIS. She was rushed to Icu on January 9,2020 . she was commatosed for a couple of days and luckily she woke up but her seizure episodes was getting worst and up until now, her condition is still the same. Her pneumonia came back 4 times , she also has hypokalemia (because of the complications) .

She is still in the hospital right now , still suffering. The hospital wants us to pay the bill which costs 800,00.00pesos and wants Krizzia to be discharge since we are not capable to buy her medicines. She is really thin now . She keeps on crying. She is still fighting , and we need your help everyone. Please help us to save her life. I am begging everyone to help us :'(

Hoping for everyone's help because she is still in the hospital at this moment for more than 3 months already .We are in need of IVIG to treat her illness and save her life. We are not capable of buying her medicine since it will costs us 400,000 pesos . Our current hospital bill is 800,000 pesos. Please help us to save her life. Thank you and Godbless !
