Campaign Story
My name is Petty Officer 1st Class (PO1) Eric Gay Tangag of the Philippine Coast Guard, 38 years old and a Filipino Citizen. I have been working as a tactical and drill instructor at Coast Guard Education and Training Center for more than a decade. I am married, with 2 daughters and a son, who has special needs (Autism Spectrum Disorder). I was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma stage III (Cancer of the Nasopharynx) last August 2017. Though we consulted an oncologist, we opted to try the natural way, but it didn’t work for me. Last July 2018, I was declared with Stage IV Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma. Lately, we learned about the Modern Cancer Hospital in Guangzhou China that offers less traumatic, less invasive and more advanced treatment of cancer. I had my 1st session of treatment in China last August 2018 and finished my 6th session last January 2019. Though I have finished the 6 sessions of treatment, I still need to further continue my treatment for my full recovery. I am once more asking for your support to get closer to my goal in raising funds for my continuous treatment. I am very optimistic that I will be able to survive or at least increase my chance to live longer and be able to provide my children’s future.
Thank you for your time reading my story and continuous support for my medical treatment.
Please include me in your prayers.
