Kim and Pam for Children’s Ark Ghana

As most of you know I am heading to Ghana on April 18th to help out with setting up a childrens home for vunerable and disadvantaged children. What you may not know is my friend Kim Robson is now joining me! There is a busy schedule when we get there! - Numerous meetings with contractors about building the new home. - Checking out the land we are purchasing. Incidentally the money I raised was enough to buy a whole plot, amazing! - We are looking to get some of the older kids involved in building a rickshaw for the home which will help out immensely as it is long distances to schools, market etc. - Reading assessments for all the children and teaching - Sex/sexual Heath educating for the teenagers. Its not all about work and we are also wanting to do something special for the children so may try and organise a trip to the beach. Since many of them have never seen the sea we think this will be a great experience. Thank you to everyone who has already donated. This site is mainly for friends and family who would like to support Kim and for the people who missed out donating to Pams page. All expenses (airfares, accommodation, food etc) incurred by all the volunteers are paid by ourselves so 100% of the money raised goes to the kids!
