Chandu was born with a non functioning kidney. At the age of 4 he had the non functioning kidney removed. The non functioning kidney was the size of an NFL FOOTBALL!!!!! At the age of 10 he had his ureters replanted due to kidney reflux in his good kidney. Chandu has been sick since the day he was born. Now at the age of 20 he is a topper in the university and is ready to get into a new job. Chandu and family is in India. In May of 2011 Chandu became very sick and went on dialysis, going on dialysis prevented him from attending his college for his graduation, which left him depending on full disability to provide for his family with. Chandu will be having his transplant surgery at Mediciti hospital. His brother will have to be off work for a minimum of 3 weeks, plus his job does not offer FMLA. The family and friends are trying to raise money to help pay for the cost of the transplant expenses, such as: gas, food, relocating for the minimum of 2 weeks for after surgery to Chennai (INDIA), and the most important one Medications. Medicare only pays 50% and we are left with the rest, one medication for one month is $1,500.

The total cost for the transplant is $40,000 and half will be paid by Medicare. We are in rush in arranging remaining half i.e., $ 20,000 as the time is decending towards his life end.We are praying a lot but couldn't find money elsewhere. Please help us in saving my brother's life.

Any and all donations are greatly appreciated! Please share our story.
