Campaign Story
Kharrine Generoso, my sister, just graduated last March 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree of Civil Engineering. She's been taking review classes for the upcoming board exam since May. Unfortunately, her world stopped when she has been diagnosed by a rare disease called Dermatomyositis last August this year. She's had the symptoms of the disease starting June. She became weak and could barely move, stand, walk, and do what she wants to do. Currently, she is in the ICU and she has undergone Tracheostomy. Because of her illness, she is experiencing complications such as Pneumonia, UTI, and difficulty in breathing. The reason why I am asking for financial help is because we cannot afford the hospital bills and medicines. The doctor said that it would be a long process before she gets well. My heart and my parents and relatives' hearts break at the sight of her. But what we can clearly see is that she is fighting to survive. And if she is fighting, we will also fight with and for her. However, we can't do this on our own. We are very poor and our funds are not enough. That is why we are asking for your kind hearts to please help us. Desperate as we may sound, we're only doing this because we love her so much and we just want to end her agonizing condition. We just want her to fulfill her dream of becoming a licensed engineer one day. Thank you!
