Campaign Story
June is pride month which means it's a month of love and being unashamedly queer. In my county, people like me are made to feel illegal, like we don't exist and have no right to be here but this doesn't stop us from sharing the love we have. In the spirit of watching Buzz feed's queer prom and Kat's queer prom in the Bold type, I thought it would be best for us to have our own queer prom for young and old queers to come together for a night and celebrate, let go and be happy. 🌈
I am Afrika and in the spirit of being an unapologetic lesbian, I'd appreciate it if y'all made this a reality for us. Our existence might be illegal right now but this will not stop us from being flamboyant in every way we can.
