Quite a number of teenage and adolescent girls drop out of school in rural areas due to teenage pregnancy. Some also skip school because they are menstruating and do not have proper sanitary care kits.

It feels disheartening to see some brilliant but uninformed teenage girls drop out of school due to teenage pregnancy. Eventually some are forced into early marriages. Footprints A2R Vulnerable Foundation, a non profit Organization has therefore tailored activities and education sections into "Keeping Our Rural Girls In School Project" This is an after school children's club where teenage girls and adolescents girls in rural communities are educated on a wide rage issues like teenage pregnancy, children's rights - (right to education, child labour, child exploitation etc.), adolescent reproductive health and related issues, menstrual hygiene etc. and to motivate and empower them to stay in school since education is one of the means to help end child poverty. We have started these clubs in a few rural communities and would need your financial support to reach out to more vulnerable children in rural communities in Ghana. You can look us up at www.facebook.com/a2rfoundation.

Donate to support us to impact on the lives of these vulnerable rural girls.

Thank you
