My name is Alexander. I'm a living kidney donor. I donated a kidney to my sister, Maureen, in April 2017 after a series of rigorous pre-transplant medical examinations spanning almost a year.

We're grateful to God for His providence on us and for all family members and friends who stood by us.

After the successful surgery, our main challenge has been raising money for my sister's medication that costs us on average USD 500 every month. The medication is vital, to suppress her immunity so that her body doesn't reject the transplanted kidney, and it will be needed for the entirety of her life.

While we are working on a more sustainable financing option, we'd like to make an appeal, through platform, for financial assistance to keep Maureen going.

Help a brother help a sister, will you?

Additional information:

Reach Maureen on her direct line (+254 719 414448) which is also her Mobile Money line.
