Campaign Story
My dear brothers and sisters, as you are well aware, I have been diagnosed with a disease that has changed my life. It is unfortunately taking longer than expected for the Government of Seychelles to send me to the UAE for radiotherapy treatment. I am therefore embarking on a journey to raise funds for my treatment, as I strongly feel that I have plenty to contribute to the society given the opportunity to heal and recover. I am aware that my case is complex, given that I have several underlying health complications.
However, I wake up everyday with hope and strength, as I have four wonderful children that give me the courage to fight this battle everyday. I am therefore using my platform as a Seychellois artist to raise funds, although admittedly it is difficult.
I therefore would like to thank each and every one of you that has been there for me, thought of me, supported me, and prayed for me. I appreciate and feel all the love, and I send love and peace to you all. Katty.
