Kammerchor Manila 2023 Fundraising Activities

We are pleased to announce that KAMMERCHOR MANILA is embarking on its 5^th European Competition and Concert Tour in 2023 to represent the Philippines in major competitions and concerts in Europe in July/August 2023.

Kammerchor Manila, fondly known as KM, is an internationally acclaimed self-supporting, non-profit church-based choir comprising young professionals from various walks of life. Founded in 1992, the choir is a three-time recipient of the Philippine National Commission for Culture and the Arts’ Ani ng Dangal (Harvest of Honors) Award and has been established as one of the premier church choirs in the Philippines.

KM has won several awards and recognitions from many prestigious national and international choral competitions, including as Grand Prix Winner, Queen of the Adriatic Sea International Choral Festival and Competition 2021 Virtual Edition (Cattolica, Rimini, Italy); Grand Prix Winner, 1st Leonardo da Vinci International Choral Festival (Florence, Italy); First Prize in Habaneras and Second Prize in Polyphony, 63rd Certamen Internacional de Habaneras y Polifonia (Torrevieja, Spain); Absolute Winner of the Grand Prix Round, 42nd Festival of Songs (Olomouch, Czech Republic); Finalist at the Grand Prix Round with Gold Medal awards as Category Winner in multiple categories, 8th Musica Eterna Roma (Rome).

Keeping ourselves committed to excellence in music, friendship, and service to God, we aim to promote the music, arts, and culture of our country here and abroad. We perform a wide range of musical genres, from madrigals to contemporary music, folkloric to modern OPM, and sacred to pop music showcasing the group’s versatility that has inspired its members and other church choirs to commit to excellence in music by elevating chorale music to its highest form.

The pandemic might have hindered us to set in motion our 2020 European Tour, but as the world is resuming its normal pace, we are now pursuing our dream of a 5^th European Competition and Concert Tour.
