Kamille’s Battle Against Cancer

Hi Batchmates and Friends,

Many of you might not know that one of our batchmates, Kamille Ladra, is bravely battling against Rectal Cancer.

As friends, we know Kamille as a very nice, capable, and strong woman. Because of her condition, Kamille’s family has exhausted a big chunk of their life savings towards her treatment. The current COVID situation in Davao city is making it even more difficult for her to access quality and cheaper treatments.

Due to the high number of active cases being treated in SPMC and her being part of the vulnerable patients, her oncologist strongly discouraged her to have her chemo treatments in the said hospital.

It is in the awareness of everyone that this pandemic has brought tough times and circumstances in our lives. Yet, in some ways, God still sustains us. With the blessings we receive everyday, may we not forget that others like Kamille is unfortunately facing an even tougher situation.

Her chemo treatments will cost around P200,000 and this is on top of the daily expenses for her medicines and other hospital visits. As concerned friends, we can do our part to make sure that she gets the best medical care given the financial constraints. Any amount will go a long way assisting Kamille gain back her normal life, free of cancer.
