Join Our Mission to Improve Animal Health in Rwanda

I am Dr. Septianingrum Lestari, or known as Dr. Arum. For the past 5 years, I have been dedicated and driven by the passion for providing high-quality veterinary care for beloved pets in Kigali, Rwanda. I am proud of the work I’ve done and the relationships I’ve built with all of the pet owners and I am deeply grateful for the support that I have received from the community over the past years.

My clinic currently provides a range of veterinary services, but I’ve identified a crucial area where we could do even more: diagnostic imaging. Specifically, I would like to purchase an ultrasound to start, and eventually an x-ray machine to help me to diagnose and treat a wider range of conditions in pets.

These machines are expensive, but I believe they would be a worthwhile investment. With your help, we can expand the services we offer and reach more animals in need. So I’m asking for your help to raise the funds necessary to purchase these equipment. I hope you will join me in this effort to make our clinic even better. Every little bit counts, and even a small donation can make a big difference in the lives of the animals we care for.

In addition to my efforts to improve healthcare access in Rwanda, I am also proud to partner with a local dog rescue organization and support their mission to provide a safe and loving home for stray dogs in our community. I am also involved in a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) project for stray cats, which helps to control the stray cat population and improve their overall well-being, and sometimes find forever home for them too. By extending our care and compassion to animals in need, and investing in the education and training of our local vets, we hope to create a more humane and equitable society for all members, both human and animal alike.
