10 year old Sameer fell down and dislocated his shoulder.

Help Ruksana (Mother) ensure he gets adequate physiotherapy and treatment respectively.

My help, Ruksana has a 10 year old school child. She and her husband do cleaning jobs and earn very little. In addition they have two other children to support. She resides in a small rented place in Sadarpur, Noida. About a month ago, 10 year old Sameer fell off a staircase and dislocated his shoulder. He was rushed to the Safdarganj Hospital, Delhi. The Doctor looked it up and plastered the hand after X-ray reports.

Despite having little resources, Ruksana kept the treatment going with regular checkups and proper medication. After three weeks, Sameer complained his mother of acute itching near the plaster. Upon closer look it was discovered that his skin had developed wounds which were septic. She rushed back to the Safdarganj Hospital and the Doctor cut the plaster off. A simple player should not have caused the such problems for the 10 year old. Ruksana then lost faith in the Hospital and went to couple of private Doctors in Noida. At present, Sameer has a bump near his shoulder. According to Doctors - "the bone wasn't set correctly". The only option now to remain is to cut and readjust the bone, but this is cumbersome and operating on a 10 year old will have repercussions in the long run. Ruksana has been advised to take Sameer for regular physiotherapy for next 45 days (1.5months).

What these funds will be used for?

Jamin Mo., Ruksana's husband, does cleaning work at HCL, Lucknow. While Ruksana, herself cleans houses in Sector 46, Noida. Their meager salaries and high medical expenses have exhausted all their life savings. They have no funds to pay for Sameer's physiotherapy. I request you all to lend some amount as immediate helping hand to a helpless family & child in need. Help Sameer to lead a healthy and happy life.

We, a group of employees from HCL-Lucknow, where Ruksana's husband work, started this initiative to provide the much needed help to the family of Mo. Jamin. and his child Sameer.

The action plan which we just explained above will cost an estimated amount of Rs.1,00,000/- ($2000 approximately). To provide the right treatment to Sameer we are depending on donations provided by the ones who believe in humanity.
