Campaign Story
You never really fully realize the implications of this pandemic until it hits home.
Despite having great employers, Cebu Pacific Air, who allowed Jesh to be on leave as early as January, and Trend Micro, who switched to work from home setup as early as March, we still contracted the virus.
My pregnant wife, Jesh, has been tested positive for Covid-19 and was hospitalized due to pneumonia. She is scheduled for emergency caesarian section tonight (07/31) while she is still in good condition for an operation. I have also been admitted here at the hospital and under monitoring for signs of Covid-19 infection. Our firstborn, Olivia, is under quarantine at home and by the grace of God, is showing no symptoms so far.
To all my family and friends, please help pray for my family that we may overcome this struggle.
Also, while me and my wife are covered by medical insurance, her pregnancy, delivery and our baby is not. We've set aside some savings for this, but we have not anticipated this pandemic, moreso, for it to hit us. We are expecting a considerable increase on our hospital bill due to my wife's and baby's current condition and the special arrangements required for taking care of Covid-19 patients. Hence, monetary donation of any amount is greatly appreciated.

Finally, I'm free to take care of my wife and kids without worrying about my own health. Stress and lack of sleep finally got the better of me and I spent my whole day sleeping in between phone calls and visiting Jessa in the ICU.Because we're a big family and we have a lot of friends, again,. . . . .

That, alone, is a great blessing to us.Her latest xray now shows slight improvements on her right lung. Her left lung, however, will take time. . . . .

CRRT with hemoperfusion is now ongoing and doctors are seeing positive results. Her xray, however, still shows no sign of improvement.Baby Kiwi is now doing fine and his swab test showed no signs of Covid-19! I

Update posted by Gpee Maglunob at 04:27 pmLast night, doctors noted complications in Jessa's heart and her blood pressure declined. Her oxygen saturation did not look good either. Her xray results showed a collapsed left lung and an emergency cathether was required to drain the fluids.Early this morning, they also noted that her kindneys were also affected. . . . .

Her lungs are still fighting to shake off the effects of the coronavirus and is recovering very slowly.Critical pneumonia cases typically take 3-6 weeks to recover, but the power of prayer is very powerful

Latest xray shows slight improvement in her lungs and all signs point to recovery.Baby Kiwi has been given antibiotics as there were signs of infection (not Covid) and specks of phlegm were found on his lungs. He is scheduled for swabbing tomorrow.Let's
