JENNY NEEDS HELP.

I have come to Go Get Funding today on behalf of a friend, an elderly disabled long-time resident of Japan, a Mrs. Jenny Nakane, who lives on welfare in Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture, and struggles normally on a daily basis with both significant health & disability issues. On top of this, Jenny now finds herself with a motor vehicle with operational defects that she is financially unable to deal with and has reached out to me for help and advice.

Jenny’s situation is not an easy one. She also cares for her husband Kiyoto, who not only now has mobility issues with age but is deaf. In addition, on top of her mobility difficulties she is also on heart medication that requires regular clinic visitations. Her car is her only lifeline of support in getting around for doctor’s appointments, scheduled treatments, shopping and a couple of classes she teaches around town (which have drastically diminished due to Covid). Most every day tasks that are normal for all of us are very real and difficult tasks for her and her husband.

Recently, following a trip to a Toyota dealer for a minor repair, she was informed that, without replacing the engine and the transmission, its days were very soon numbered. As you can imagine, in her position, she is quite distressed and desperate, as the repair quote was overwhelming and beyond her means. Following this news, just to add insult to injury, she was involved in a motor vehicle accident in which a large truck hit her vehicle from behind at a toll gate. She called me in tears when it happened. Following the insurance repair for this accident, the vehicle’s alternator then died.

Given the poor condition of her current vehicle and its negligible resale value, the practical and best option is an appropriate serviceable replacement. I have volunteered to undertake sourcing, purchasing, registering and delivering the correct vehicle for whatever budget is available. Hence our appeal to get funding assistance to support such a kind, bright, positive, happy and religious lady who is really deserving of our efforts.

A modest but adequate budget to meet Jenny’s immediate needs has been set to have Jenny conveniently and safely motoring as early as possible. Clearly, the more funds raised, the better the quality of vehicle available.

私は、兵庫県宝塚市で障がい者福祉手当によって生活を送っているジェニー・ナカネさんの友人です。彼女は重大な健康と障害の問題がある高齢者で、これに加えて、ジェニーは現在、運転上の欠陥のある自動車を抱えており、経済的に対処することができず、私に助けとアドバイスを求めてきました。日常生活で苦労している友人に代わって、私はGo Get Funding に参加しました。

ジェニーの状況は簡単ではありません。彼女は年齢とともに運動障害を抱えているだけでなく、耳が聞こえなくなった夫、キヨトの世話もしています。さらに、彼女の運動障害に加えて、彼女は定期的に診療所への受診が必要で、その為の心臓の薬も常時服用しています。彼女の車は、医者を受診するための交通手段、買い物、そして彼女が教えているいくつかの英会話クラス（Covidのために劇的に減少しました）のために移動するための彼女の唯一のライフラインです。私たち全員にとってはごく普通の毎日の生活が、彼女と彼女の夫にとっては非現実的で困難な生活を送っています。

最近、彼女は修理のためにトヨタのディーラーに行きました。その時、『エンジンとトランスミッションを交換しないと、この車はすぐに動かなくなる。』と彼女はディーラーから言われました。その際の修理の見積もりの金額は想像以上で彼女はそれに圧倒され、彼女の手段を超えていたため、彼女はかなり絶望的になりました。この出来事に続いて、彼女はさらなる被害にあいました。彼女は料金所で大型トラックが後ろから彼女の車に衝突する自動車事故に巻き込まれたのです。それが起こったとき、彼女は涙を流しながら私に電話してきました。この事故の保険修理の後、なんと車両のオルタネーターが動かなくなったのです。

現在、彼女の車の状態は最も悪く、下取り価値がほとんどないことを考えると、適切に修理可能な代替品と取り替える事が今の彼女にとって実用的で最良の選択肢と私は考えました。私は、予算が許す限り、正しい車両の調達、購入、登録、配送を自発的に行います。

ジェニーの当面のニーズを満たすための十分な予算は、ジェニーができるだけ早く、便利かつ安全に運転できるように生活を設計される事です。調達した資金が多ければ多いほど、彼女の車の修理にあたって利用可能な車両の品質が向上することは明らかです。
