At jammin vegan community we realise and act on the fact that the future of this planet is not fixed but its constantly changing.

Everybody's navigating their life and the course of the whole planet with energy of thoughts, emotions and actions we all create.

We are all part of a consciousness, an energy system called existence which connects with spritual energy where everything has an impact on everything.

We realise that when you harm somebody or any living being you're harming yourself, if you're doing good you're creating good energy for yourself too.

We want to encourage people to respect nature and stay in tune with her because everything you do to her or other beings will come back to you so says the law of cause and effect otherwise known as karma.

I’ve learned that when the heart awakens, we will come to understand that we do not harm other beings, because there is no desire or instinct in the heart to do so. From this position of clarity, at least one aspect of our lives becomes peaceful. We will find also that because harmlessness is a natural part of how we live, there is never the need to expound, justify or explain our own personal views of life with the further idea of persuading others that we are right, and they would do well to follow our way.

We realise that each person is responsible for their conduct and how they live. This responsibility is unique and personal, and cannot be assumed or taken on by another, no matter how well intentioned.

Jammin vegan community has been created to show our local community, international and local tourist alike that the future is bright by living and acting with this ideology of creating a space with intension of having a positive impact on the environment of this part of Costa Rica, supporting local farms and producers of local fruits and vegetables whilst promoting healthy live styles through the dishes that we create.

We are currently trying to raise funds to replace the old roof of the restaurant and also to extend the kitchen area , update our kitchen equipment and extend our currently limited menú with intentions of being an even more popular plant based food restaurant in Puerto Viejo, south Caribbean of Costa Rica.

We’ve just gone through a long low season period here and we’re struggling to make ends meet.

We really appreciate your help, helping us to create a thriving future for our environment by showing that we’re not separate but indeed part of nature and the environment.

Our long term plan is to obtain land and create a green school to teach young people about nutrition, planting food, permaculture, medicinal plants and others ways of sustainable living.
