Campaign Story
As some of you may know, myself (Justin "Jackmeat" Whippo) was detained in an immigration detention center for 67 days (here is some info on where exactly I was VillaWood Immigration Detention Center ). My original Facebook post showed that many would be willing to help out in my release. We greatly appreciate the help that we received and applied this money to afford good legal help. With this, I am now back with my family under certain rules. One being I must return to the USA at the end of the month. This leads to being only half the battle, as I still do not own a partner visa. I need to raise 6,850 AUD (5,165 USD) for this partner visa to return. I still I am fighting for the woman I love, Rebecca. I am fighting for Rebeccas daughter who I adore and call my own, Tamara. With Tamara suffering from severe scoliosis(she recently had 2 steel rods implanted in her back to straighten her spine) and autism along with a very close relationship with her grandparents, picking up and just taking them to the USA is not an option. So I am fighting for that, to keep us together.
At this point, I do NOT expect anyone to donate so I have the closing date of this fundraiser end of this weekend. If anyone still wants to donate or planned to and missed it, that, of course, would be very helpful as the sooner I have the visa, the sooner I can return to Australia. Beyond this date, if you do want to help my saving of this money and paying off the full legal fees (I will be working as soon as possible when I return to the USA), you can use this link directly https://goo.gl/M2gTVc after this site has closed.
At some point, I may get into words just how awful the last 2 months have been. Do NOT ever find yourself in this position, that of being in prison without committing an actual crime.

Case review scheduled for Feb.10th
Update posted by Justin Whippo at 02:34 amWill be seeing the court for a case review on February 10th. Not sure if that is good or bad news. Also not the amount to be raised has been dropped to 5,165 due to the exchange rate. Still all the help is much appreciated and is helping out with
Day 40 update
Update posted by Justin Whippo at 07:14 amSo far there has been no movement at all. Have not seen my case worker since Dec. 22nd and have requested in writing multiple times to see her. No one has said anything to me so I will keep moving forward and stay positive that this goal can be obtained
