It is my fault. My fault that she can not live her dream. That she can not follow her passion.

26 years ago, there was this incredibly sweet baby who was born within a family who did not want her. Who did not love her. Who did not care for her. A father who was the classical workaholic. Who was never home and claims to not have known about anything. A mother who was mentally sick by herself, forcing her little girl into severe eating disorders. Beating her when she obtained bad grades. Calling her crazy and threatening to call social services whenever this little girl tried to stand up for herself.

This little girl decided to leave her home and her country as soon as she turned 18 years old. Ready to start over, she started going to college. Fell in love with this incredible man who was a single father. They started having a life together, ended by the baby passing away due to cancer. And taking my friend to lose her partner due to an accident.

Once again, she was alone. Heading straight towards a relationship in which her new boyfriend would insult her, beat her, and even burned her with cigarettes. But she managed to get out of it.

During all this time, the little girl transformed into a beautiful and extremely strong woman. Who worked up to three jobs at the same time in order to save up money to make her biggest dream and passion in life come true. Dedicating her free time to volunteering with orphans, kids with eating disorders, and rescuing street dogs.

And then, when she had already saved up almost sufficiently to make her dream come true... I happened. She is my best friend in the entire world. My sister from another mother. And when my father fell into coma and went to hospital, my family and I tried everything in order to pay his clinical bills. We were so desperate that we were about to sell our house. This was when she stepped in. Without even telling us about it, she went to the hospital. And paid our bill with all her savings. Her savings which she had been working on all her life. Saving my family from losing our home. And making bringing my dad back home possible.

It is my fault. My family's fault. That she can not make her dream come true. She has never complained about anything. She has never even slightly asked us to pay her back, but I know that she will not be able to live her dream. Due to us. Consuming her hard worked for savings. My father's disease destroyed her dreams. And made it impossible to live her dream.

This little girl who was born 26 years ago has always had one single dream in her life. One big passion. One big goal which has made her move on whenever things got difficult. Becoming a pilot.

Unfortunately one of the most expensive careers. But becoming a pilot is all she has ever dreamt of.

All my family members and I are currently working two jobs. Unfortunately we can't work more as we still need to take care of my father. And we keep paying his ongoing medical bills.

Here is my enormous wish: I would love to be able to surprise her. That's also why I am not posting neither her name nor any pictures of her. I would love to surprise her by telling her that her studies are already paid. That all the tuition is covered. And that the housing is arranged. That she can finally make her biggest dream come true. And live her passion.

I have already been in contact with a rewarded institution which assured me her acceptance. As long as I can make the corresponding payment.

Please help me. Help me by giving this incredible and amazing, loving woman a chance to live her life. To make her dream come true. She has been treated hardly by life. Life has played pretty hard on her. But she has always stayed positive, with an enormous smile on her face, not complaining, and living simply humble and selfless.

She has spent all her life giving. Please help me to give her something back.

Today for her. Tomorrow for you.
