Help Fund My Civil Engineering Education

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your aid in achieving my dream of acquiring a degree in Civil Engineering. Unfortunately, the financial strain of tuition expenses has grown onerous, and I have reached a fork in the road. I've started this campaign to help bridge this gap and finish my bachelor's degree program. My university tuition fee is estimated at $8500 USD per year.

I started university in 2019, and while I was working at and going to school, I went for the first semester only, which was very difficult for me to manage. I had to take a break from school because I had to ensure that I contributed to my household's needs, supported my mother, and took care of my little sister, who is now 11 years old. Her father died of diabetes when she was 2 years old. My mother, who is a vendor, a janitor, and a mother to three beautiful young ladies, has been fighting to take care of us. Even though we all have different fathers, each chose a separate path in life.

“Have I applied for scholarships?” Yes, I tried multiple times with no luck. "What am I doing now?" I am currently trying out a few freelance hustles that I see online that peaked my interest, such as Fiverr, Affiliate marketing, and Drop shipping. I haven't received any sales yet, but I am trying to promote on my social media to gain sales or commissions. I do not like to work in a Call Center because the environment is not suitable for my mental health.

When COVID came around, this terrible moment left my family, like many others, dealing with substantial financial setbacks, making it extremely difficult to regain my footing. My mother has been trying to get sponsorship for us over the years, but it was not sufficient based on the school's fee requirements. Your kindness and generosity will provide the lifeline I need to move forward so that I can pay my tuition fees and assist with my little sister's future as well. Your generous contribution will help cover essential expenses such as rent, bills, and medical costs, which have become insurmountable obstacles for me.

For me, civil engineering is more than a career path; it is a passion and a calling. I believe in the ability of infrastructure to improve our planet, but I need your help to make this a reality.
