Into the nations with Helen Avadiar

I am embarking on a new journey..

For as long as I can remember, I have had a burden in my heart to reach out and love the poor, the one in pain, the lonely and the oppressed.

I have now, chosen to take a leap of faith and answer God’s call to step into a new direction in my life. I will soon be uprooting from my home country Malaysia, leaving the comfort of my home, my friends and family and moving to Thailand to give my time, resources and love to her people and the neighbouring countries in Asia.

I do not know for how long I will be doing this, but I do know that my heart answers, "as long as there is a need."

To do this, I will need your help.

I will need financial support from partners like you, who will walk with me as I make this move; the cost will include living expenses (accommodation, food & transportation), language classes, and also the various costs associated with ministry and travelling.

I will be a part of an existing Missions Organisation that will travel to various countries within Asia to bring Hope into the hearts & homes of those who are unreached and forgotten. We aim to transform lives and communities, walking with them in Love, equipping them with the truth of God's promises and more importantly, leading them to an encounter with the Father's Love.

One of the other areas I will be committing to while I’m there, is to join hands with organisations that fight to end human trafficking including sexual exploitation & abuse of women and children. These organisations work towards preventions through awareness and education, protection by providing cares through shelters and transition homes and restoration of lives through love, counselling, inner healing & teaching of life skills.

I want to walk with survivors of human trafficking, loving one person at a time; doing everything I can through Inner Healing & Counselling, to bring restoration and a chance for a new story - for these lives that have been so brutally robbed off freedom and basic human rights.

This world in filled with brokenness. You may have also experienced trauma, pain and oppression at some point in your life. Where we are, there are so many resources and people we can reach out to when we are in need of help…

But there are many out there who are still crying out and praying with hope that someone will see them, and get them help to be set free from the darkness and pain they live in.

I know there are many who are already doing good work in the areas I mentioned above; I also know that it is not enough. We still need more workers in the field.

My heart is to partner with God to heal the many around me and my desire is to love them and help build their broken lives, one step at a time.
