Please help homeless animals in Ukraine!
There are no exact data about the number of homeless animals in Ukraine, because nobody keeps such statistics. However, according to information provided by public animal-protective organizations, currently there are more than 200 thousand homeless animals in Ukraine. Approximately half of them annually die of starvation, infection diseases, freeze to death, they’re constantly being killed and poisoned by animal abusers. During 2012 there has been recorded over 4,000 deaths of homeless dogs only in Kyiv! That is the official data. But what was the actual number of dogs, which have died? Nobody knows for sure.
There is no unitary state target program in Ukraine. Different animal-protective organizations and separate enthusiasts are making efforts to find systematic and complex solution for this burning social problem of homeless animals’ existence, but that is not enough.
International charitable project “Buba-Tour” (http://buba-tour.com) is raising funds in order to help Ukrainian animal-shelter “Sirius” with construction of new living complex. The needed sum to reach this goal is 120,000 euros. The future complex will allow accommodating more than 1,000 homeless cats and dogs!
To raise funds necessary for complex construction we are going to carry out European charitable promo-tour in July-August 2013. For two months we will be travelling by car through 9 countries: Poland, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. We are going to visit dozens of cities, while speaking to thousands of not indifferent people and telling them about our project!
We need 15,600 euros to put "Buba-Tour" into action.
This sum of money includes documents’ execution fees (for visas, insurance, certificates), costs on food, fuel, consumables, car maintenance and other important organizational and “Tour” realization expenses.
Help us to collect the needed sum and to trip through the European countries with our charitable project! By lending a hand you can save lives of more than 1,000 homeless puppies, dogs and cats!
We and Buba believe that when each person, living with love for the animals in one’s heart, shares at least a tiny bit of the warms, pays attention and shows concern, it will:
- save life to particular dog;
- help out to find owners for kittens;
- teach our children to be heedful, merciful and compassionate.
Dogs connecting people!!!
